2.png For Listeners: Importing Your Podcasts to Player FM

Transitioning from Google Podcasts? Here's how to bring your subscriptions with you:

Export Your Podcast Subscriptions from Google Podcasts:

      1. Visit the Google Podcasts website.
      2. Tap the Settings button on the left side of the screen.
      3. Under "Export Subscriptions" find "Export for another app."
      4. Tap "Download." The OPML file will be downloaded to your device.

Importing your subscriptions into Player FM:

Method 1:

  1. Locate the OPML file on your device and select the Player FM app to open it. Note: you must be logged into Player FM for this to work.
  2. You will see a message telling you how many subscriptions will be imported. Tap "Import Now" inside the red circle.
  3. You'll see a confirmation of your imported subscriptions.

Method 2:

  1. Visit Player FM’s website and log in.
  2. At the top of the page, choose "Playlists."
  3. Then choose "Import OPML."
  4. In a separate code editor app (like Notepad) open the OPML file and copy all of the code to your clipboard.
  5. Back on the Player FM website, paste the code into the "Import OPML to Player FM" box.
  6. Tap the button labeled "Import!"
