How do I adjust the playback speed?
Playback speed can be configured by following the steps below:
- Go to Settings by tapping the gear icon on the top right.
- Tap Show Settings.
- Tap Playback Speed.
- Set the Default speed. The normal speed is 1x. For slower playback, select a value lower than 1x. For faster playback, select a value greater than 1x.
On Castro Plus, you can override the default playback speed per subscribed podcast show. Your subscribed podcasts are listed in the Playback Speed screen, and you can tap them to customize the speed.
Alternatively, playback speed can be configured from the app's player:
- Play an episode.
- Tap the upward arrow icon on the left side of the player located at the bottom of the screen.
- On the full-screen player, tap the gear icon.
- Scrub through the playback speed slider to customize speed.
