Player FM Premium Features Restoration Guide
If you find that your premium features are missing, the following steps will assist you in restoring them to your device. This process is designed for users who are logged into the same Apple ID that was used to make the original purchase.
Restoring Your Purchases
Restoring your purchases on Player FM is a straightforward process:
- On Player FM iOS, ensure first that you're logged in to the Player FM account tied to your premium membership. You can confirm this by going to Settings > Connection. The Connection settings screen has the Logout option that you can use in case you're logged in to a different account. If you're not logged in, the Login option appears instead.
- Tap the Settings icon at the bottom-right corner of the screen. If you see the Learn about Premium option, it means you're using the premium version and the premium features have been unlocked. If the Upgrade to Premium option appears instead, it means you're using the free version.
- Tap the Upgrade to Premium option.
- On the bottom of the succeeding screen, there is a Restore button. Tap this to attempt to restore your purchases.
Additional Troubleshooting Steps
If restoring your purchases does not work, try the following actions:
- Close the Player FM app entirely and then reopen it. This can often refresh your session and restore access to premium features.
- If closing and reopening the app doesn't work, try restarting your device, as this can clear up minor software glitches that may be affecting the app's performance.
- After restarting, open Player FM again and check if the premium features have been restored.
