How does the Set Priority feature work?
The Set Priority feature on Player FM Android lets you sort podcast episodes by priority level. For it to work, you need to set the priority level for the episodes first by following these steps:
In any episode list, tap the 3-dot menu (found in every episode) next to the play button.
Tap Set Priority.
Rate the episode's priority level by tapping the stars. The more stars you give, the higher the priority you set for the episode.
Repeat steps 1 to 3 for the other episodes in the list.
The Set Priority feature works even if you only set the priority level of some episodes and leave the rest untouched.
Once you're done performing the steps above, you can then sort the episodes by priority:
If you are on the Downloads, Playlists, or the Following (episode list view) screen, tap the 3-dot menu on the top left, then tap Sort episodes... and select Priority.
If you are on the podcast series detail screen, tap the Sort dropdown menu, and select Priority.
Under the Priority sort option, episodes with a higher star rating appear at the top portion of the list, while those with a lower star rating (or no rating at all) appear at the bottom portion.
